Oxair Gases’ high capacity nitrogen membrane system meets the needs of large-volume users. These include manufacturers involved in steel, food, waste water treatment, glass, textiles and pharmaceuticals, as well as oil and gas production.
Now for the clever stuff. For an explanation of the process click How Nitrogen Membranes Work
Engineered for fast installation, containerised high flow membrane nitrogen systems are designed by Oxair to minimise your electrical power consumption. Low maintenance and easy to operate, these nitrogen systems are ideal for a wide range of applications, with significant operational savings to be made against liquid nitrogen tanks.
Weather-proofed containerised membrane systems are a way of producing a ready-made solution to produce the nitrogen at a lower cost than engineering, designing and building a structure to hold the membranes and compressor skid.
Operating pressures of 7 to 24 Bar (100 – 350 PSIG), features of the containerised system include; lift rated, an air-conditioned control room, is easily transported and provides convenient access for maintenance.
Models are available to supply your high-volume requirements up to 5,000 M3/hr (170,000 SCFH with a range of purities up to 99.9%).
Simple to install maybe, but our nitrogen technology is not slow to get going. Providing a rapid flow of constant purity nitrogen within minutes of a cold start from existing plant air or a dedicated supply. One of the world’s largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource development in Australia’s history, the Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, is being supplied with Two (2) Containerised nitrogen systems developed by Oxair. All of the equipment is EXE rated for explosion proof conditions.
