Oxair Gases’ low-cost Cabinet Membrane Systems combine the economy and high supply
reliability of on-site nitrogen generation with a compact design that fits easily into
existing indoor installations. Engineered for flow rates from 5 to 3900 scfh as well as
low maintenance and easy operation, this family of PRISM nitrogen systems is an ideal
supply alternative for a wide range of applications. The systems provide significant
savings over traditional cylinders, dewars, and bulk nitrogen tanks.
Proven Technology
PRISM Cabinet Systems use the membrane technology pioneered by Permea, a division of
Air Products and Chemicals and a leading innovator in gas separation technologies.
These systems feature specially-engineered separation modules containing hollow fibre
membranes that selectively remove oxygen, water vapour, and carbon dioxide from compressed
air to efficiently produce nitrogen. Purity and flow rate can be adjusted to suit
individual requirements. Thousands of PRISM membrane systems have been installed around
the world.
Features and Flexibility for Your Application
Experience proves that every application and location is unique. Oxair Gases’ family of
Cabinet Membrane Systems is available with a number of standard and optional features to
suit your particular needs for instrumentation, air source, and other requirements.
Membrane systems generate nitrogen at significant savings over liquid nitrogen or cylinder
nitrogen.
Designed to Meet Your Needs
- PRISM Cabinet Membrane Systems reduce nitrogen supply costs over conventional supply
modes.
- Proven proprietary membrane technology produces highly-reliable nitrogen supply at your
site, replacing cylinders, dewars, or tanks.
- Compact cabinets fit easily into existing facilities and simplify installation.
- The Series 2000 design with expansion capability allows system to accommodate increased
volume requirements.
- Nitrogen purity adjustable from 95.0% to 99.9% for greatest flexibility and cost savings
(Series 500 preset at 99%).
- Automatic shutdown during low demand (not available on Series 500).
- Simple design with few moving parts means easy operation, minimal maintenance, maximum
reliability.
- Instant nitrogen generation upon connection to air supply.
- Generates dry nitrogen with a dew point down to -90°F (at atmospheric pressure) for
moisture-sensitive applications.
